Q. How long will my manufacturing order take?
We’ll start production on your order as soon as we receive it, and most pieces take 1-2 weeks for fine jewelry and 5-6 weeks for fashion jewelry, to complete. If you need your order faster, contact your assigned jewelry expert to request expedited production/shipping.
Q. Can I change or cancel my order?
Yes, if you’d like to add or change items in your order, contact us as soon as possible. To cancel your order, you must contact us within 24 hours of placing the original order. If your jewelry has already gone into production, we may need to deduct a fee from your refund or charge a fee to enact the change you request.
Q. What is the warranty on your jewelry?
All of our fine jewelry is warrantied against manufacturer defects for the lifetime of the piece. If your jewelry breaks or is damaged because of a design or fabrication error, we will happily repair or replace the piece at no charge. Sterling silver jewelry is covered by this warranty for 1 year from date of delivery. Other metals are covered with a 1 month warranty From the date of delivery.
This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, scratches, damage caused by misuse or improper storage, or unauthorized modifications. Loss of semi-precious stones and small melee is also exempt from this coverage. Having your jewelry modified or resized by another jeweler voids any warranty on the piece.
Q. How quickly can you complete an order?
Individual orders that we receive are initiated within 24 hours of receipt. For larger orders, we will be able to advise a turnaround time based on the information we receive. A number of our customers use us because we deliver a very quick service without compromising the quality of the finish. We will do what we can to meet any special deadline requirements you may have.
Q. Do you take on large orders of work?
We have a range of customers, from individuals to large jewelry shops that order 1000s of items monthly.
Q. Do you offer engraving?
Engraving is a great way to add a level of personalization to any jewelry. Engraving is optional for a minimal charge.
Q. Can you set the stones I already have?
Yes! We can work with your diamonds and gemstones to create something new, whether it’s a design from our collection or something brand new.
Q. Does the gold plating last?
If cared for properly, your gold plating will last and not wear through. Our gold and rhodium plating are both durable and hard-wearing.
Q. Do all diamonds come with a grading report?
All of our certified diamonds are accompanied with a GIA or EGL grading report.
Q. Is the diamond certification recognized abroad?
Yes, GIA and EGL are very reputable laboratories of diamond grading worldwide.
Q. What is a conflict between diamond and gemstone?
Conflict diamonds and gemstones are diamonds and semi-precious gemstones used by rebel groups to finance civil wars. However, besides civil wars, precious stones mining today is plagued by a range of shocking ethical abuses. These include violence by governments, child labor, extreme poverty, and environmental devastation. At davvia, we believe that the jewelry industry needs to focus on addressing all of these problems, which is why 5% of our profits are donated to help communities impacted by the jewelry trade build a brighter future with education, environmental restoration, and economic development.
Q. How does davvia identify mines that meet its standards?
Our suppliers are required to source precious stones that originate from specific mine operators who follow internationally recognized labor, trade, and environmental standards.
Q. How Does davvia Hold its Suppliers to its High Standards on Sourcing?
davvia carefully selects a small number of suppliers who can demonstrate adherence to our high standards of sourcing. We carefully vet and approve each precious stones supplier to determine if they have the necessary capabilities to track and segregate the stones based on origin. Our diamond suppliers are required to demonstrate conformity to these chain of custody protocols in their supply chain and verify documented due diligence of the origin of natural diamonds from Canada, Russia, and Botswana Sort.
Q. Can a diamond really be tracked from origin to final delivery?
Yes! Creating processes to track origin requires effort, and very few retailers do it. But diamonds—like everything from wine to chocolate —can be tracked through the global supply chain using a documented chain of custody protocols and robust tracking and inventory systems. In fact, because of their high value, diamond whereabouts are often tracked to prevent loss.
Q. Do ethically-sourced precious stones cost more?
Our careful sourcing methods do not lead to higher prices. The diamond and precious stones mines we source from do not add a premium simply because they treat people and the environment with respect. Nor do diamonds mined using shocking labor practices, such as child labor, reach consumers at a lower price point. The market for diamonds is global. davvia offers excellent value by providing our socially conscious jewelry at the lowest possible price.
Q. Are your other gemstones ethically sourced?
We carry a variety of beautiful gemstones ranging from stunning sapphires to lustrous emeralds and most semi-precious stones in between. We strive to offer colored gemstones that are sourced in alignment with safe working conditions and environmentally responsible principles. By continually working with our colored gemstone suppliers to improve standards and traceability, we strive to promote higher standards for gemstone sourcing to transform dangerous mining conditions and encourage responsible practices.
Q. What is recycled gold and how does it impact quality?
As part of our commitment to environmental responsibility, davvia strives to use recycled and re-refined precious metals in our fine jewelry, vermeil, and gold plated jewelry. Our precious metals come from numerous sources, including post-consumer materials, such as existing jewelry, industrial-use metals, and electronics components; material from in-house recycling, refining, and product manufacturing or other secondary sources; and investment gold and gold-bearing products. Because our recycled and re-refined silver and gold are refined back into their pure elements, they are of the same high quality as newly mined metals, without the level of degradation to our natural resources caused by new mining.
Q. Do you offer lab-grown diamonds?
davvia offers an extensive collection of stunning lab-created diamonds, which have the same physical, optical, and chemical characteristics as our natural diamonds.
Q. Are lab diamonds real diamonds?
Yes. Lab-created diamonds have the same physical, chemical, and optical characteristics as natural diamonds, as well as the same fire, scintillation, and sparkle. They are real diamonds. Lab-created diamonds are nearly impossible to differentiate from natural diamonds with the naked eye.
Q. Are your semi-precious gemstones treated?
All precious gemstones purchased from davvia are of natural origin and have not been chemically treated to alter their natural beauty. Most of davvia’s stones are heat-treated, which is an accepted industry standard. Heat treatment improves color, clarity, and overall appearance. No radiation, chemicals, or health risks are involved in this process.
Q. Do you offer alternative gemstones such as tourmaline, aquamarine, etc.?
We offer a wide variety of gemstones, including aquamarines, morganites, amethysts, moissanites, and more. Please contact us for assistance.
Q. Are all of your white gold and silver rings rhodium-plated?
Yes, all of our 18k white gold and 925 silver pieces are rhodium-plated to give them a brilliant, white shine. If you prefer the softer, warm tones of 18k white gold that has not been plated, please contact us so that we can make that modification when you place your order.

Q. I paid for my inventory, what happens next?
Producing your inventory can take up to several weeks. Once your inventory arrives in the davvia Warehouse you will be contacted for an assembly call.
Once all the items arrive, you will chat with an davvia Fulfillment Specialist. This is when you will schedule a video call, where you will instruct davvia how to build your finished product and you can watch in real-time to see your finished product come to life!
Q. What company do you use to deliver your items?
We use UPS as well as other providers for all our USA customers, and do not add a surcharge for this service; we only pass on the actual cost to you. For our international customers, we use DHL or FedEx. If you have a courier you would like us to use, we are happy to use them instead.
Q. Can I use davvia for warehousing & fulfillment if I did not create my products with davvia?

Q. How are my products assembled?
We understand that your product has many components (branding elements, packaging, product, and more) and davvia has a team that will assemble your product for you and send you a sample. This will allow you to see exactly what your finished product will look like.
Q. How are my customer orders fulfilled?
davvia provides the ability to not have to worry about shipping products to customers. This includes packaging, bubble wrapping, printing labels, and visiting the post office. davvia provides best-in industry fulfillment fees that make it the best option for sending products to your customers.
Q. Do I have to handle returns?
No. If your customers would like to return one of your items, they can return it directly to davvia. You don’t need to worry about a thing.
Q. What happens if one of my pieces shows up broken?
This will happen from time to time. davvia will replace all items that arrive to your customer broken due to shipment.
Q. How are my products warehoused?
davvia allows you to store your products in an davvia Fulfillment Center so that you don’t have to worry about storage or order fulfillment. Just send your inventory to an davvia Fulfillment Center and get ultra low-cost storage and fulfillment rates. Q. What if I am not sure what finish I need on my jewelry?
We have onboard experience jewelry experts that will be more than happy to guide you and help you decide the best finish for your item.
Q. Will I own the intellectual property rights for my designs?
You retain all your intellectual property rights in the 3D Models you supplied to us, including without limitation any and all derivative works like 3D renders. This includes all the paid designs that we design for you.
Q. What types of prototypes does davvia offer?
davvia offers several types of prototypes from 3D printed samples to actual finished products.
Q. How long will it take for my products to be produced?
The time it takes for us to make your samples depends on the products you are creating as all of our products are custom made. Some samples take a few days to produce, while others can take several weeks.
Q. I ordered my samples, how long does it take to arrive?
Once we complete the production of your samples they will be shipped to an davvia Warehouse. The sample will be shipped to you within 24 hours of it arriving in our facility and you will receive an email notification with a tracking number.
Q. What is sustainable packaging?
Sustainable packaging is any type of eco-friendly material used to wrap, store, ship, or shelve products.
Q. What is sustainable packaging made of?
Eco-friendly packaging includes recyclable materials, cardboard, and paper wrappings. These materials, once sorted correctly for recycling, can be shredded, pulped, or melted down and remolded to begin anew as raw material for a new packaging or other uses. But while cardboard will retain the quality of its properties, plastics degrade each time their polymer chains are broken down (or melted) and can only be recycled so many times before they must be sent to landfills or incinerated.
Q. Is there a minimum order quantity?
Minimum orders can vary depending on the request, but generally speaking, most quotes start with 500 samples per design.
Q. What is the lead time from order to delivery?
Lead time for an order is typically 6-9 weeks for production after purchase order or final graphics. This excludes shipping time, which depends on the buyers’ location. For repeat orders, 4-5 weeks.
Q. Does davvia’s packaging offer biodegradable or recycled packaging options?
Yes. We are deeply committed to minimizing our environmental footprint. We continuously work to develop innovative and sustainable packaging options that are recyclable and biodegradable, while remaining dedicated to our own internal sustainability initiatives.

To launch your jewelry product line you’ll need to purchase samples, stock inventory, and design your packaging. These costs are dependent on what you are creating and can vary depending on quantities and material requested.
Q. Will COVID-19 Affect My Order?
We may experience intermittent shipping delays due to the impacts of COVID-19. We will continue to update you regarding your order.
